"The Judge" No. 2 series of 8

“America Reclaimed”
As greatest country in the world we need to “Reclaim” what is ours!!! Our children, our loved ones, our families, our own lives, and our country from the vicious grasp of Addiction. Whether it be BIG Pharma, BIG Liquor, or Drug Cartels operating in our own backyards across the entire Country, they all have, in their own essence, brutally hijacked the very soil from beneath our feet, our homes, our lives and our great nation. To me “America Reclaimed” has such a significant meaning. It is not from the sidelines as a spectator sitting on our hands watching this tornado of Addiction completely destroy the fabric of our society. It is getting involved in any way possible, we collectively must take action and “Reclaim” what belongs to us “Repurpose” the direction of our spirit and “Rejuvenate” the underlying beauty we can all find in Recovery. Whether it’s your child, sibling, parent, uncle, aunt, cousin, grandparent, best friend or yourself, we must all do our part to bring about healing and recovery for it is the whole family that suffers indescribable pain and misery 
from Addiction. By practicing and forming healthy and congruent boundaries the family dynamic and environment heals, we begin living a healthy useful life, we are able to help those suffering amongst us, helping them find their own path, purpose, freedom, and Salvation. “Reclaimed” as beautiful and simple as the wood may be is yet just a metaphor for a greater message I hope to spread through my art.
